Calum from CRS Joinery has completed some excellent work to showcase his skills.
Here, Calum constructed a new door as a replica of an old original door which had rotted away. It was made in Sapele taking care to fashion it to the precise specifications so that it would slot comfortably in place. The door was then hand painted with Farrow and Ball paint, in an attractive and unique Stone Blue colour.
Calum also designed a set of triple bunk beds for a holiday lodge in the Lake District. This space saving bunk bed design enabled three beds and a cot to be fitted into one small room. This was built from dressed redwood (PSE) and finished using Danish Oil.
Inially Calum, on his quest for compact utility, built a set of paddle/ space saving stairs for a loft extension where there was insufficient space for standard stairs. Custom Redwood strings and treads were fitted along with MDF risers to make this possible.
Finally, CRS Joinery built this pergola/ seat swing using redwood for an event. Wouldn't this look good in your garden?
Keep up the good work Calum!
